Can confirm that I have no idea what I was doing in Tomorrow Children and but that it didn’t stop me from continuing to play like a good worker, and I will continue to do so if it ever comes back.
So what you’re saying is with the right peripheral equipment they could have beaten Ring Fit Adventure to the punch.
Shaking my damn head. Vice City isn’t the same without The Buggles or Michael Jackson. Or Quiet Riot and Ozzy. Likewise for San Andreas with Tupac and Tom Petty. Rockstar dropping the ball on that pretty hard.
Otherwise these look pretty good. There’s some leaked gameplay footage out there now. Can’t wait. For some reason they aren’t letting anyone play them until tomorrow morning at the earliest so I won’t be able to start them until I get off work tomorrow afternoon.
They are leaving all the controls as they originally were too! Maybe except some sliders to dial things in, but it’s all as awkward as it ever was based on the footage i’ve seen. And I like the toy look of the world and characters, it’s uncanny in an interesting way, or it frames everything as like a Perky Patt’s urban violence fantasy thing that I can get behind.
Yeah that’s great to hear about the controls. I knew they were going to have updated versions but I was also hoping they’d keep the classic controls as an option.
I’ll probably play with the updated controls just for the novelty. Contemporary style third person shooter controls will really flatten the difficulty of those later missions.
I am heart broken about Kate Bush, Gary Numan, and James Brown, but I 100% understand dropping MJ and Afrika Bambaattaa.
i am excited for videos of this game for sure. what a hot load of shit. apparently since that one dude left the company they’ve been drowning and have restarted gta 5 four times. this release is sure to relfect the lack of any direction whatsoever at rockstar.
SO EXCITED
I knew it
Can’t believe Joe Jackson’s “Steppin’ Out” got cut.
someone better warn Kate Mulgrew about this one
Can’t wait for the videos of people falling out of the world in the Oculus port
suddenly Nintendo charging me 60 bucks for completely or mostly unchanged ports or remasters seems reasonable

I know that I haven’t exactly been positive about this thing from the start and they definitely didn’t expect supply to get as fucked up as it has in recent months but…
this whole situation just keeps playing out like a series of very obvious lessons why a design company shouldn’t make a bespoke videogame handheld. the tone of their actual press release / apology email is in this very weird place of “we know you, as our customers, want us to succeed!” that I just don’t get
missed opportunity to put the crank to use generating electricity

and rest my case.
