To clarify, I entirely mean the cost of licensing and wrangling the actors, not that I think it would be more labor intensive to use their faces. The latter seems pretty well figured out by this point.
Like is there no additional fee or approval process if you put Robert Downey Jr’s face in a game?
I could totally be wrong I got no idea what kinda nightmare contracts Disney has. But I would assume there would be extra compensation for actors if their likeness got used.
Pretty funny to have a longwinded introduction about how much Playstation is about Respecting the Legacy, Storytelling Above All Else, Driving Innovation, “Games That Matter – Games that you’re Not going to find anywhere else” and then see that means wolverine game, spider man game, god of war game & Gran Turismo 7
yeah i was raised as an atheist homeschool kid, and lemme tell you, i’m way more interested in the life cycle of ants than i am in evangelism because of homeschooling
remember when sony was publishing demoscene stuff on PS3
As someone who just doesn’t expect much from these kinds of things anymore, seeing Project Eve isn’t going to end up as vaporware or a failed attempt at making a console game by Shift Up was a nice surprise. It has some good b-game vibes. Reminds me that they have another game in the works that was also announced at the same time a couple of years ago that I think is still MIA.
