ppl making anything remotely informed by KF are allowed 2 use any font they want, as a treat

game does not appear slavish like you mentioned, though you also imply cowardice that it isn’t more slavish, sounds like

anyway im sure itll suck but hey, someone is making something i have a vague interest in. that’s an event, 4 me

Yeah it looks fine to me too. I liked Grimrock 2 a lot and it reminds me a bit of that

I’m totally running on speculation and thinking through how difficult it’d be to bring King’s Field forward while avoiding Souls designs. Honestly when I watched the video I was thinking, is it time already for Elder Scrolls: Oblivion nostalgia retreads?

Wasn’t expecting the highschool sidestory chain. Feels weird that it’s Yagami, maybe Yakuza team should just make a school gangs game.

Dead Space still looks good. It had excellent art direction. Don’t see the point of this remake but I’m willing to be shown the point if there is one.

The way they could’ve made this interesting is to’ve made their primary inspiration Dark Messiah

The Cuba Doctrine: why stab when you could kick?

I want a good first person game primarily about melee, grappling, throwing, climbing and jumping and etc. Both normally and with superpowers. Weapons and stuff are there but infrequent and break after a few uses and used as punctuation

Like a good third person brawler action adventure that had a first person mode but that’s the whole game.

I guess I want Mirror’s Edge but with more moves and just slightly better integration of weapons and stuff.

For some reason The Darkness (PS3) popped into my head but that’s probably not the best rec.

Zeno Clash? Much more focused on the melee angle but still there’s some resonance there

Thanks for reminding me about that series! I never played any of those games but meant to since it was Starbreeze and I liked everything they had done. Even remember the comic book it’s based on which I never read either.

You know I’ve never seen all of To Kill a Mockingbird either I should kill two birds with one stone.

I never played Zeno Clash either despite looking really cool.

the best thing about this is using the bread baking mechanic as the stinger

I want a first person game where you kiss people

I liked Dark Messiah of Might and Magic back in the day. Breakdown for the Xbox is the classic first person vomiting example though.

You kiss Sonic in this one

That’s the one person I hope to never kiss!
