10,000 Bulletins: No One Can Stop the Presses! (Part 1)

I was thinking exactly this w/ Romancing Saga on switch. Absolutely no reason for it to not work w/ a single joy-con. Especially when one of these things breaks every 3 month

e: I don’t like that they’ve succeeded at making me say “joy-con”

did anyone else find one of these guys at a flea market and buy it because JRPGs then somehow not realize the Other Implications until your friend saw it and made jokes

I had one of those a few years back and it died after only a few days of use. I was a fan of it, otherwise, but couldn’t justify re-buying something that I couldn’t be certain wasn’t going to eat shit again. I think I got mine for like, sub-$15, so I’d recommend anybody interested in single-hand gaming check it out, but with the caveat that these things are over 20 years old and may not last you very long. :man_shrugging:

Every Bloober Team game has been an incompetent riff on PT so of course they’re the team that gets to take a crack at a new Silent Hill

better qualifications than the successions of teams given the license after 4

and I’d give it just as much likelihood of being worthwhile…

chasing an IP only contributes to the heat death of the universe

I am unsure why people look at Konami (a company whose current core businesses were hit particularly hard by the pandemic) randomly resurrecting titles like Getsu Fuuma Den or Momotaro Dentetsu (the latter brought back by a creator who got so pissed at the company in 2015 that he pronounced the series dead) and making all those Silent Hill collabs only to deduce that nah, there’s nothing big going on here

Also my crystal ball says that both the worst possible scenarios and the best possible scenarios imagined by people here re: SH will come true, the next years should be very interesting

…Because it’s Konami?

I always thought this was meant to be an accessibility controller and only found out years later it was marketed to SuFami RPG fans in Japan and PS1 owning perverts in America.

I’m fascinated by Homestuck’s publisher claiming Sarah Z (YouTuber) defamed them re: the game Kickstarter and making takedown demands Streisand effect be damned. I would simply not!

Like maybe not 83 minutes fascinated but hey, whatever.

My new favorite pro wrestling promotion GLEAT is going so big

My friend is in their main event tonight!

You’re allowed to call someone a friend if they follow you on social media and you ate dinner with them once okay that’s how it works, half of you can call me friend, don’t hesitate to do so if it might get you something cool (money, a date, a rotisserie chicken, whatever the vegan equivalent of a rotisserie chicken might be[probably some healthy thistle that makes your piss stink real bad?])

Hey so apparently there is still conflicting information regarding the state of PSP game purchases from PSN but if you want to be sure then tomorrow (maybe even today with how time zones can be?) might be the last day they are available. Gonna look into if you can still buy them though the PSN website script at least when I get home today because if I have to do it through my PS3 I’ll probably not bother.
