Two randos wake up hicks, some bullshit happens, a random colonist gets shot out in hicks’ pod and there’s your explanation LOL. the rest of the DLC is michael biehn phoning it in even harder and getting captured like 3 times because hicks has to disappear. I guess canonically he’s in a black site or sometnig now. Thank you gearbox, it is a miracle that we have game’s. also one of the funniest post release ACM interviews is hicks being like yeah it was totally passionless and no fun at all, and then doing free advertising for fc3 blood dragon by talking about how much less miserable he was working on it
