god tier album
this whole soundtrack is honestly amazing, donât know other industrial that sounds anything like it. scratch killer is some hype fuckn stage music.
there was a vinyl release of the soundtrack in 2016 that played down the fact that it wasnât the original soundtrack but actually a digital recreation. itâs awful sounding imo, like a John Carpenter score in the worst possible sense. i guess chu ishikawa made an album out of the score and rearranged everything, and that was a reissue of that album. i think itâs so much worse. compare these:
prefab sprout appreciation post
apparently this song is a dig at bruce (brucey) springsteen who only sang about âcars and girlsâ but i think you should probably listen to a bit more than just the immediate catalog of someone youâre critiquing before making a catchy song. kind of a slip but the song is breezy
and hereâs their goofy non-representational hit song
this is the first prefab sprout song iâd heard and i was actually more pleased to find they had a lot more serious stuff. this song is still hella catchy tho they donât slip on makin songs good

hmmm OK, maybe this one works:
if not, search for âDĂśf - Codoâ⌠NDW (Neue Deutsche Welle) as its best.
definitely have been through periods of only really liking swoon because of how clean the production gets on everything after that but i seem to have made a peace with it
