i saw a bunch of youtube commenters complaining that jun togawa shouldnt have screamed so much in the 80s because she doesnt sound like herself anymore linking to this concert from 2001 as proof and im like. freaking out because this is CLEARLY peak performance from an artist. also lol shes like, just older too…as if togawa fiction isnt one of her best albums

she has adapted really well as she grew older, too. if you listen to her work since 2016, she’s both very aware of her voice’s limits and commited on making stuff that fits her new range. i mean this is one of her best works ever (!!!) and it’s from the current phase.
