It’s a good one but honestly pretty much rock and roll. Sounds like a fantastic rock group (I probably chose the most boring song as a link) but I am beginning to think that things only really take off when they start putting delay on the drums and stuff. I absolutely love wah fuzz fun over moron bass BUT that icy sheets of flanger noise and skittering drums mode ++++

I miss the inclusion of my favorite live member (the hair clippers) on this recording, but, having never heard them this produced and in such a tame 60s psych style, I was really into it! But, damn, am I excited to listen to those later recordings remastered… holy f. love this band.

Yeah it’s basically “accessible” but still monstrous. Coulda been famous (if they wanted to be) not just cult-famous.
