Been listening to the new Dylan album and it’s pretty decent. Kinda a cross between Love and Theft and Tempest. Lots of enigmatic couplets set to competent spooky/dreamy narrative instrumentation. It’s got a couple of duds but have been enjoying these a lot:

This one uses Frankenstein as a framing device to ramble through a bunch of disconnected selfish monologues about the evils of history

Dylan seems pretty preoccupied with the meeting of classical literature and pop culture in a big way on this album and this sums it up in a neat little track.

I just like the guitar on this one
