Somehow I forgot Godflesh (a duo for most of their existence) and Macula Dog (sort of carrying the torch from the Residents/Snakefinger and “are we not men” era devo)
Macula Dog’s most recent live setup has them using exoskeletons to project their faces on the walls amd mount their midi keyboard and drum pad wirelessly so one of them can pull off stunts like walking out of the venue to play the interlude, lol
