It’s not as many as on 360 sadly, but there is this Creators Collection initiative or set of tools I guess which means small obscure stuff gets released.
And most of it is absolute kusoge. Lots of windows phone ports. Some stuff that just opens up a bunch of adds in the Xbone browser. And some things I like. I’ll talk about those here.
But first a quick mention of a game that seems to be unreleased, how sad:
You know what, nvm, this actually got released on Win10 and can be bought for free on this lovely site:
(good god what even)
Also for some goddamn reason there’s gonna be a brand new shooting game from the Judgment Silversword / Ginga Force / Eschatos devs Qute Corp exclusive to Xbone that was supposed to come out five years ago and is now coming out on Christmas this year for $42.49 digital only. What nonsense. I mean I dunno.
You may fucking preorder here:

Or be like me and wait for an eventual PC port?
Real talk, Poppy Kart is the best Mario Kart since GBA Mario Kart. Possibly. It’s also a phone port and can be pirated on PC, but it got most of the course designs and equally importantly the powerslides right. And the mode-7 looks kinda nice on a big LCD TV. Maybe.
Oh hey there’s also:
Omega Rally Championship.
And it is just a blazingly fast overhead racing game with tight drift controls and one music track that seems to go on forever without looping and is kind of annoying but also speeds up on higher difficulties and somehow entrances me somewhat.
Sadly there’s only three admittedly longish tracks and you can see everything within the trial period. Oh well. Flat-shaded polygons need more love (even the smoke trails are made of polygons)!
Speaking of which, the reason I wanted to make this thread is to mention Crystorld.
Because Crystal + World = Crystorld. And I don’t know if it’s flat-shaded wonderworld is more of a low-poly procedural nightmare hellscape. Complete with disharmonic chiptunes. Wandering around until you find the crystal. That’s it. It’s beautiful. I think.
Have a look maybe:
You can also switch to hell mode and then you get to collect thingies before you can even reach the crystal, which will be in a more devious location. And there’s items sometimes. And up to four player local splitscreen coop. God knows why. I know why. I sure want to play it with my imaginary friends.
Seems to be by a Japanese dev named TOYURO. It’s $1.59 and also on PC?

Fuck. Okay!
Thanks! (I only played the first 10 levels, but I feel like getting lost in it and playing them all.)
