Attempted yesterday’s worlde on the iPad in bed last night and failed it but got todays on the phone while on the toilet at work.
So my first try I failed but second try I got it on the third row. I feel pretty clever. Am now looking forward to tomorrow.

Thought for sure I would get it on the fourth try with “Naval” but not quite. Double letters really threw me for a loop as well. Feels like it has the potential to be such a wasted guess if you don’t get it right since you’re not maximizing the amount of guessed letters.

I suspect that using the second word for five wholly new letters is worth the cost of occasionally getting an empty row, as it helped me narrow this word down much faster

First word: AGENT, Second word: NADIR. The first viable word I could think of for my third try was JANKY, which was not on the dictionary but did give me an idea for my actual, very helpful, answer.
Oh, of course. That’s the thing about this game: my brain will lock in around certain patterns, and won’t consider obvious words outside of it.
