When my friend worked for Mackie they briefly partnered with Behringer, and then Behringer split and then started selling clones of their designs. I have one tiny shitty USB audio interface from them and that’s it
behringer are allegedly run by some real assholes
my only personal experience is with a keyboard amp that started randomly failing, would output insanely loud static if you nudged up the effects volume beyond 0… then stopped working entirely.
to be fair a cat did spray on it once. i assume this is related

I ordered a $8 Behringer audio interface from Sweetwater and the inspected by card that it arrived with just said “I rubbed my balls on this.”
That being said, if I had access to their cheapo clone synth like 15 years ago I’d probably be a better person. I do love my Neutron.

s/o that one 15W bass practice amp by them that was ubiquitous in the mid-late 00s. mine is probably still basically fine though i think i might have blown it out a tiny bit trying to use it for band practice

Like I really enjoyed my KO 1 and might get a 2 at some point, but Brooks is correct.
it’s a little telling that the one teenage engineering device i’ve enjoyed the most is the little desktop mixer that i use as an audio interface and literally do not touch otherwise
