This rules. I had to look up the whole MIDI OST
Sigil Doom WAD MIDI soundtrack by Buckethead and James “Jimmy” Paddock
Smooth as heck.
@meauxdal and @a_new_duck talking Wind Waker music in the E3 funeral thread reminded me of this cover I found on Spotify a while back. Sea shanty vibes.
So we all know the kaze no notam soundtrack by heart, but lately this one track I barely registered before is really standing out to me. In fact I’ve probably listened to it now more than the rest of the album combined many times over.
It’s really the kick and the snare that does it for me. Also the guitar solo which is like, barely there, almost drowned out by the rest of the song. And on the second verse you kind of anticipate the guitar & it doesn’t come back at all except for one single note.
Also worth hearing is the end credits song which is kind of a reprise.
Btw kaze no notam is cool but it’s also trying way too hard. I don’t feel the same affection for it as tail of the sun or even aquanauts holiday
Lately my workday soundtrack has been this gacha game playlist that Youtube recommended me
I’m sorry that you’re finding out like this, but engaging with anything Blue Archive-related puts you on a list
This is just perfect, thanks! : D
It’s by Yasuhisa Watanabe, aka “Yack,” a prolific composer of game music who at one point was keyboardist in Taito’s house band, Zuntata ( Yasuhisa Watanabe | Capcom Database | Fandom ).
The two biggest chunks of their work I’ve found in a quick YT search are a best-of playlist
and the Elevator Action returns OST
There’s more Yasuhisa Watanabe just in this very thread, too:
The Majokko de’GO♪GO♪ work is one of his best non senko works, a lot of it’s really catchy (don’t look up what the game looks like unless you want an empty funeral).
This song’s one of my favourites of those
