I recommend frequent checking of the ingame library recommendations about class strengths and weaknesses as I was getting similarly lost for a while.
The biggest issue to me is the prep phase never fucking ends when equipping each person with their shit. Then making their shit work for the unit they’re in. At least you don’t have to do it often.
