yes, this game is fascinating. it has bubonic plague attacks?? was that like a scripted mini-event???
my guess is someone else attacked it and it ran away from them and died at me? that gross ass spell seems like something a sorcerer would do
there are like scripted events that happen in certain rooms or like when two npcs are with eachother because its just 30 years of adding and adding to this game and they barely ever take anything out like, unless its breaking something. i see something new EVERY DAY
i just remembered there was a thing at an RP event a few weeks ago where someone did a spell wrong trying to like, open some ancient seal it doesnt matter and it gave everyone the plague and they were just all scrollign the screen with their skin falling off and pustules bursting

my friend gave me a bunch of free paid currency and i got a tube that catches sea animals and turns them into paper, gems, or candy so im going to make a bunch of sea-themed edibles so everyones zooted and thinks voting for me is a good idea
ive already got zooted like, being accepted as in-character slang (if you push a silly non swear hard enough it can become in world as its intrinsic to your character. and pookia is TOUCHED BY THE MOON so its half of my character to just, say and do weird shit all the time. zooted is canon)
anyway its a new system so its a LITTLE BIT BROKEN, not my perspective because i was too excited about my broken candy to screencap anything, thandiwe is one of the like, four people who actually get paid to work on this game

combat is most of the game the combat system is super deep and the reason i play
its just the most like esoteric numbers bullshit to talk about. when i stream though im hoping to just BE GRINDING BOUNTIES THE WHOLE TIME

well what are the rules for creating custom items in game?
BASICALLY you follow the 15/15/15 rule and add a long. that means three sections of 15 characters each for your base description, and then a long (60 characters) after
heres the site that i use to make sure my alters will pass quality check. what ive noticed so far in gemstone is you can get away with ridiculous custom concepts as long as they’re grammatically correct and stick with the 15/15/15 rule
so i have my two signs which are
a prominent pink placard that reads 'Professionalism. Progress. Puerility. POOKIA!
and
a pastel pink posted proclamation that reads "lifes a tree, lets jump together!" pookia for council 5122
now i have to make buttons

did you know??? bards in gemstone iv can sing to items to understand their magical properties and stats (you cant see stats on items unless they’ve been sung to by a bard) and when they sing songs to things, the verses have to rhyme! also if you rhyme land and hand your magic will fizzle, its been deemed TOO LAZY to rhyme hand and land
