white ps4
the cheap ps3 top loading model
a wii-u i desperately need to get rid of
modchipped ps2 i keep around incase i feel the need to play nocturne or dragon quarter
old 3dsxl
2015 macbook air
shitty old core2 running debian for mission critical tasks like plex server, irssi & rtorrent
iphone 5s
also a urine-yellow dreamcast and my childhood megadrive + megacd in a box at my parents’
60GB PS3, for the backwards compatibility.
PS4.
~5 year old desktop that requires low settings now on modern games. I don’t know anything about hardware so I have no idea what’s in it at this point. Though I do know that the video card fan died and I ebayed a new one from the factory in China and the power cord was only half as long as it had to be, so instead I’ve had a box fan pointed into the open side of my tower for the past 2 years.
My little sister still has my SNES and my beautifully curated collection of games.
I had a SNES + 15~ games which I recently sold on ebay
Gamecube + RE games + little else which I guess I’m just leaving with my friend since he had that for the past 4 years?
DS, PS1, PS2 tucked somewhere, most games sold
PS3 collecting dust
It’s all very sad really
Then I have this 1 year and half lowish end pc which is really ok, and the cheapest phone I could find that could do something I needed but I forgot what( probably did it already it’s ok)
DS Lite w/ Flash Cart (R button is busted)
2DS (blue)
Wii (hacked)
Wii U (lacking)
Other:
PSP (hacked)
Xbox 360 (Silent Hill Homecoming machine currently)
PS2 (never used {almost})
Samsung Galaxy S3 (hacked and cracked)
Archos Gamepad (the 1st one, terrible battery life)
PC:
Lenovo G500 Laptop (I actually have 2 of these, one has a busted screen and is hooked up to the TV). I love this thing, it plays semi-modern games on medium or high settings, some modern games on low settings. I can even record a decent amount of games too for my LPs.
PS2 x2, 1 fat, 1 slim Slim being the one in active use.
Modded Korean Xbox
Gamecube
GBA SP
DS Lite (also a OG DS that appears to have died last time I attempted to fire it up))
I had a GameCube instead of a PS2. I got the PS2 after the Wii was already out, mostly to play Katamari Damacy and We Love Katamari. I tried to get it to run pirated games but that didn’t work out, so I never really used it.
It’s a fine machine but I’m a Nintendo boy at heart.
I wrongly assumed the PS2 was the go-to machine even for ninty lovers. I only knew one guy who exclusively owned a Gamecube and that was a one-trick Timesplitters 2 multiplayer machine.
last i read ps3 emulation was super iffy and difficult because of the cell processor system having 6 cores or something – have there been new breakthroughs? cos if so that’s sick
PS4: 6 or so games? I’ve had more, but I’m brutal about trading in those that don’t earn a permanent spot on the shelf.
PS1/2/3: Handful of games for each, no consoles. My OG 60gb went and died last year, so that entire section of my library became useless, barring PC emulation.
PC, good enough for PS3/360 ports. The stats:
Athlon II X4 635, quad core, 2.9ghz
4GB ram
Radeon HD 7750
Really nothing to write home about, I built this thing ages ago and never upgraded it.
