Wait I thought we all agreed level scaling was Oblivion style « when you level up, enemies level up too » so you can go anywhere and have a similar level curve

SMTV does basically the opposite since every enemy has a fixed level and you get huge bonuses if you’re at a higher level

On harder difficulties in SMTV battles do get very hectic and creative and require a constant supply of fresh new demons, even if you’ve played a lot of these. Though bosses basically all require at the bare minimum agressively keeping up with buffs/debuffs and having allies hit weaknesses constantly, which does get tiring over the course of an entire game
