Kind of a what if we took the aesthetic of NES Castlevania games and took away the limitations, and gave it megadrive-y effects.
Oh shit, I didn’t realize Kayin was at TGS! I shouldn’t be surprised; he’s been exhibiting BEP a lot, including to Castlevania’s creator. If you weren’t aware, Kayin is the creator of I Wanna Be The Guy, and this is his love letter to the oldschool. Watching him develop and polish this game made me despair of ever doing spritework myself.
