I’ve been busy lately! I had company one week! I was out of the country the next! And sandwiching that were a few weeks where I was too sick and sad to get out of bed! BUT THAT SHIT’S ALL OVER. I’M BACK AND SO IS ANIME.

I don’t know, I only watched these movies on 7th generation VHS dubs back in the 90s! I could barely tell what was going on half the time and I think most of those tapes ended with Jackie Chan showing up dressed like Chun-LI!

If you ain’t having a good time now you will soon cuz it’s a big night tonight! Loki’s fabulous pre-show is already underway! Tulpa has some real stylish cartoon that we all gonna enjoy! And I have chosen CRUSHER JOE, a really long fuckin’ movie from the creator of Dirty Pair! I just finished skimming through it and I didn’t see anything Violence Jack-level – it sure looked like a lighthearted space opera romp – but damn this is anime. What if I missed something? I sure hope I didn’t. I sure hope this cartoon is as good as I remember.
But man it looks good. Think it may feature a Frol-level crush. I think she’s a sassy drunk!

Crusher Joe is excellent stuff; the main characters are interestingly varied from their archetypes, the ships explode real good, and the bad guy has some great pets
