Yakuza: Like a Dragon live demo atm.
Jobs, street go-karting and final number of party members confirmed
Fixing up a failing confectionery company lightens my heart.
Really weird to see JRPG mechanics and party interactions in a realistic setting.
wasteland 3 has a max headroom reagan that’s worshipped as a deity by one of the factions so that’s cool I guess??
idk anything about the wasteland games are they good
The original is good. I backed it but couldn’t get into Wasteland 2.
The original owns (please do not play that ugly fucking remaster lol) and Wasteland 2 feels like three times as long as it needs to be. I doubt 3 is going to be anything to write home about either, which is really sad as a huge fan of the original.
hot tip play the rerelease that integrated all the manual text into the game, but set all the graphics to original. Probably the ideal way to experience it.
Wasteland 2 had the weird problem of being very early-access/receptive-devs so the front half of the game is generally mediocre with some glimmers of what they’re going for and then the los angeles half is pretty great all around.
Dunno if I like the aesthetics of this, especially hoping the music doesn’t all sound like the over enthusiastic chiptune dancemix stuff in the trailer there
the first half was so exhausting that I remember trudging through the LA shit as fast as possible to get it over with. always wanted to revisit it and give that part of the game a fair chance but fuck playing the first half again lol
My biggest problem with Wasteland 2 was that I estimate 20% of my time in game was spent rotating the camera around to try to see everything. I always felt like I was missing something if I didn’t do this. As soon as I realized that, I stopped playing.
I love that you can specify what brand of cigarettes each person in your party smokes. It is unironically the coolest thing about Wasteland 2.
Yeah I beat that Wasteland 2 and above all else how long it was is still the thing I remember most about the game.
if they just cut the first chapter of the game down to be a glorified 2-3 tutorial area and left the los angeles stuff as is is, it would have been so much better.
the choices they give you in the beginning are annoying because they feel like weird arbitrary “Hello, Wasteland 1 fans!!” pandering mixed with tutorial shit and they end up making you do both fucking areas anyway! Revisiting Highpool would be cool but the town is functionally smaller than the one in the first game and all you talk to people about is important quest shit, so like…why bother?
The exclusive demakes are cool and all but does anyone actually prefer the NES ports over all other versions of these games?
Same Question.
Looks like M2 though.
