It may sound petty to beg for retweets and wishlists, but let me explain. According to all the research I have done, and all the people whom I’ve talked to, the first day of your game’s Steam presence sets the tone for how Valve’s algorithms will promote it until its release. If you fumble the all-important first day and get very little page traffic then the algorithm basically hides you, which starts you off in a marketing hole that’s hard to get out of (organic Steam traffic is probably important even for big-budget PC games, but it’s the lifeline of most lower-budget ones). At the other extreme, if you get thousands of people wishlisting your game on its first day then the algorithm assumes you have something that people want to see, and therefore it shows your game to more people before its release, in a kind of self-reinforcing cycle. There are probably tons of other factors that go into this, and the devs at Valve are tweaking this stuff every day (you can tell because every week on the gamedev subreddit you get some small dev complaining about “discoverability” and how their game isn’t being found by anyone anymore, and then the next week that dev’s happy but another dev gets screwed over, and so on). But day 1 wishlists and day 1 traffic seem to be very important factors in most cases, as far as I can tell. Point is, more activity on our page today = more overall exposure via Steam’s algorithms = more wishlists in total = more sales at release = more resources for the next game = eventually we hire a private investigator in Japan to track down everyone who worked in Nazca’s offices from 1994 through 2000, and then we can “make them offers they can’t refuse” so they come work for us. (Kidding! … Maybe!)"

Indoor is celebrating the launch of ‘PC Engine mini’ with a ‘Hu Card’ Type Acrylic Keychain which will be released at the end of July. They are priced at 880 yen each (tax included). They will be available at INDOR STORE until 11:59pm on June 14. Pre-orders are now being accepted.
