the fellow who recreated zzt’s source code has now done the same thing for super zzt:
the underlying codebase is apparently very, very similar to zzt’s (literally untouched in a lot of places), hence the surprisingly quick turnaround on this project.

I like to wake up and exist in a place of ideation every morning. But the way our human nature works, we can increase our productivity when there are checkpoints. I love the video game OutRun 2. Arcade version. I love hitting all the curves and getting all the straightaways. But I also love hitting the goals.

ahh based on how he’s described playing outrun like a complete fucking alien I see we’re in for another great “kanye west has a series of manic episodes preceding an album release” cycle, I wish he would just release an album he’s worked on for longer than two weeks instead of trying to HIT ALL THE CURVES and start a cult in Wyoming or whatever he’s doing right now
