i respect Burger King because they were the first burger chain to offer veggie burgers (and the Impossible Whopper is pretty good), but Taco Bell is certainly better imo

The only thing I would ever get from Taco Bell was the Chicken Supreme Gordita, but they took that off the menu. There’s the Cheesy Gordita Crunch and I can subsitute the meat for chicken, but it seems a crapshoot as to how much sour cream you get. Without the sour cream it’s just really dry. They should bring back the Enchirito, though. I remember liking that as a kid.

Back in the PS3 days I think Playstation’s go-to partner was Subway. Googling it, the promos had cool and hip names like “SUBWAY Fiery Footlong Frenzy Fueled by PlayStation”.
There’s also “Taste for Adventure”, an Uncharted 3 themed promotion where “Subway product placement is embedded in the game, with a special ‘foot-long taunt’ and other secret moves based on products and branding from the 34,500-unit chain.”

last time i willingly went to a burger king was for the pokemon toys.
should’ve teamed up with arby’s or something.
It seems like the Subway cross-promo stuff was only in the multiplayer beta, but something about that ad with a video game character holding a soda and talking about Subway feels so quaint. Maybe we should make a galaxy oddity thread for ads with video game characters.

Have always been a fan of burger king / hungry jack’s. Prob my fav of the american junk chains ive had. Every burger that isnt a whopper kinda blows tho

throwing one in for Carl’s Jr. loved their western bacon cheeseburger as a kid (but always hated when my request for more barbecue sauce resulted in them giving me the sauce for chicken, it’s not the same!!!) even though it destroys the stomach, they also have malts and I want to say cherry coke. Was also a big fan of the Sourdough Jack as a kid from jacques-dans-la-boite. As an adult, I’m a fan of anything that doesn’t come with a bunch of lettuce or mayonnaise that I don’t need to remember to ask them not to include. Also, drench that fucker in ketchhuuuuup.
french fries are the MAIN reason for drive-through, though, and I think McDonald’s and In-n-Out have the best french fries – not just flavor, but also like, the soft/soggy to crunchy ratio. I don’t like them too crunchy, so McDonald’s and In-n-Out rule in my eyes. i fucking love french fries with ketchup.
