the best big budget thing this year has been like, flight simulator, which is… definitely a pitch for microsoft’s SaaS, but isn’t really replicable or interesting in its own right.
I keep meaning to try valorant, but that’s a very PC kind of title, and apart from that, my expectations for the kinds of games you need new console hardware for are at a decade low

I really don’t want consoles anymore, yet again with the exception of nintendo who, for all of their annoying bullshit, at least offer some kind of coherent, unique value with their home consoles and first party games.
what non-timed exclusives can microsoft or sony throw out to make me give a shit about either of their new consoles? especially now that naughty dog has just kind of shit the bed?
at least with a PC it’s mostly my own bullshit that I’m dealing with

For a while I misremembered that “help me!” sound effect as coming from Yurt
