Because it a yu gi oh kinda thing where the you play a card and actually see the characters go out on the field there are lots of fun new 3d models and animations in there for characters like Marine or Lanolin from IDW or The Conductor from Murder or Bean the Dynamite or the fucking weird scientist from Tails Adventure

I honestly cannot tell if this is going to be any good or not. the last sonic racing game felt more like they were giving a new cohort of devs a chance than like they were really trying to outdo transformed, they somehow failed to beat Mario Kart to release this year which seems like it should’ve been their one job… I am an extremely gettable market for Sumo Digital and idk
they have successfully killed any interest i might have had in this game
