fancy qix, a qix clone for x68000, which mentions being released at comiket 36 on its title screen, which i thought was kind of interesting. in-game, you are revealing background images that get gradually more salacious as you progress. i got to stage 5, and though they weren’t pornographic yet, i’m sure they will become so later
I played the demo and thought it was fine, but not terribly compelling in my opinion. Although, not enough to write the game off entirely. Anyway, can I ask how it is so far? I’m still a little curious about it.
that sounds like a fair assessment, though i’m only <2 hours in and a lot of the tools i expect will make the combat more interesting are yet to unlock and i only have access to one einherjar
i do feel like it’s a vastly better attempt at a campy s-e action game than stranger of paradise at least
pc port seems fine if anyone’s wondering, though it’s capped at 60fps so i imagine steam forum types are screaming
the pocahontas mega drive game is actually way better than you’d expect! it’s a puzzle platformer with kinda prince of persia-like movement and search action-lite power-ups that permanently increase your movement options.
most pertinent to this thread, though: it looks incredible. it doesn’t have lots of technical wizardry like that most famous late mega drive movie license, the lost world. instead it’s just got well drawn and animated pixel art, with incredibly well-picked colour palettes. i’d love to play a more action-packed game with these colours!
