it occurred to me today that not everyone is aware of Dragon’s Heaven, which is not only the inspiration for this thread’s title, but also probably my favourite piece of mecha media, period.
there’s a mang too, by makoto kobayashi (no not that one… no, not that one either… somehow this guy is weirdly hard to search for), it looks fucking beaut but i can’t seem to find a good (or complete) scanlation.

oh yeah he(?) also does fucking sweet as models too which i’m mega jealous of. i wanna make models like this so bad.
idk what this guy is up to now but i hope it involves making more fucked up scrangly mecha.
