MMOs have destroyed everyones brains wrt interior’s sizes
Third person games exaggerate the scale of interior environments to compensate for the camera’s downward gaze. Always makes me think of this article (from 2002!) about level design in Max Payne, where they show you what a realistically proportioned room would look like next to the same environment in game.
I thought they would mention door size in that article but I guess they don’t.
Max Payne is actually the exact game that taught me about this, via a first-person mod that did nothing except move the camera into Max’s head. Suddenly the whole game looked like a wacky oversized funhouse
Super Monkey Ball Deluxe (PS2) applies live word balloon captions on top of FMVs for the Story Mode cinematics; when the game is run with a certain 60 FPS cheat ]_], the captions get out of sync with the 30 fps videos.
I really like how the speeder in Star Wars Outlaws looks like a 70s Suzuki motorbike. Also Nix is the best robotic operating buddy since MGS5’s DD.

I do like how nightmare flashback little Bruce Wayne is stanced up/proportioned like a small man here, with his feet in the ground.
it’s been pointed out many times, but i love how these versions of the joker seem to spend endless hours writing “ha ha ha ha ha ha” on everything, and also getting a tattoo artist to do the same on his skin
