School me on makinga twitter bot

i just want one that i can make say random lines from a list at semi-regular intervals like the a few .txt bots, but i am lacking in clues so can anyone link me a tutaorial

My girlfriend uses http://www.twittbot.net. I don’t use it myself but judging by the horribly J-to-E translation of the guide, you just log in with a Twitter account, put the stuff you want separated by line breaks in a text field, and choose a frequency and the rest is handled for you.

There’s a premium subscription if you want fancier features but for most it should be fine.

Are you interested in the process of making a bot yourself or are you more interested in the end result?

Semi-relevant? (Not particularly instructive)

I might be interested in the process so if anyone wants to talk about that/link to resources

I’ve made two using this process http://www.zachwhalen.net/posts/how-to-make-a-twitter-bot-with-google-spreadsheets-version-04/

I wonder if any vegans ever made twitter bots, and if so, how they justify it.

what

The whole wasteful use of resources thing.

Although yeah, I’m aware not all vegans are vegans bacause they want to reduce “superfluous” use of resources but a lot of them do (or claim to)
