this is 100% accurate to the original game, RE3 loves its fucking explosive barrels. I haven’t played the original in a couple years and I haven’t played the demo yet either but I remember the city streets segments being kind of action-packed because they throw a lot more zombies at you at once than RE2 ever did

All the barrels and ammo make sense when you think about the original RE3. It’s only weird coming off of RE2make. I’m sure I’ll adapt and feel less guilty about unloading into zombies when I get the full game.
I hope I like this more than RE2make… I’ve grown a little cold on that. I LOVE RE3 so I have hopes which this demo has kept alive.

if you want a real sequel to RE2 hold out hope that they give Code Veronica the same treatment instead of throwing it into the fires of hell where it belongs for being the most fucking terrible thing to bear my name

I have been watching top Dreamcast games lists and the nerds love to out Code Veronica on there.
I came to love Code Veronica after years of hating it.
I could forgive a lot about Code Veronica if it didn’t do Claire Redfield completely dirty and wasn’t like 12 fucking hours long which is the mortal blow for a Resident Evil game. Dreamcast guys just want to brag about having a Resident Evil on their console before everyone else.
