I think I am mostly disappointed that they didn’t keep the lack of random encounters and companion pokemon from the Let’s Go games

the real test of a pokemon title pair is what’s left for pokemon special’s protagonist names
after a phantom thief Green, butch druid Yellow, best-trainer-in-the-world Crystal, half-feral Sapphire, warrior princess Platinum, entertainment superstar White, eco-terrorist Whi-two, hot-blooded shounen protagonist Y, and doctor-archer Moon… we better get a girl who earns the name Sword, pairing tradition be damned.
Maybe her name could be Blade or Buckler.
