Please, Carcassonne Was My Father's Name: The Board Game Thread

I own Discovery (got it free many years ago as part of some promotion, I think) but haven’t seen Gold Rush before.

Another game I own but never seem to get to play is 20th Century, which is superficially kind of a cross between Carcassonne and Power Grid (but not quite as good as either of those). It has a vicious auction element that I like.

I don’t know what that is. Sounds like it would be one of those complicated Avalon Hill war games with a thousand tiny carboard squares.

Edit: After a cursory search, I still don’t know what it is. Checkers?

TR is the only one left for attempted hostile takeover, and more than not wanting to drag this stock round any more, I plain don’t care for it
