if you’ve got one like this this guy at least says it’s video only no audio and will just take composite over an rca->1/8" mono plug

some other guys say the bigger ones labeled “a/v input” take something like this:

Woah. That prototype NES actually looks pretty hot, but those controllers! That square d-pad looks like a nightmare. Also, it looks like they might still have the famicom’s built in controller mics?

found a rained on crt by the road side and rescued it. after 3 months drying in the garage I plugged it in… and it works!!!

85hz max not bad. native rez 1600x1200
cnet tells Preformatted textme I can pust 132hz at 1024x768 mmm.

maybe already aware, and still fun to see, but RGBHV BNC connections won’t deliver higher/different quality signal than the VGA cable

yeah i havent done my reading yet but i wonder if i can pull rgb off my game systems or if the horizontal refresh is going to be wrong

monitor won’t be able to sync to stuff pre-ps2 without upscaling of some fashion

pc/emulator solution = output low-res stuff at 120hz instead of 60hz, duplicate frames

i love these photos of entertainment centers but i also wanna see what they look like actually used, after a month of not keeping up with cleaning everything immaculately, wires tangled, surfaces dusty

Look I’ve got at least twelve game consoles in this apartment and they Do not play nice with each other for chord management.

Admittedly most of them are not out, but like…This is my life.
