I haven’t had the chance to listen to them myself, but my coworker just said he listened to a lot of a french hip hop collective called Sexion D’Assaut growing up.

He grew up in Burkino Fasao and said Sexion D’ssaut was the most popular group among his friends.

Now I need to go down the Franco Hip Hop rabbit hole.
