Squadron 42 has been pushed back from Q4 2026 to Q2 2027.
The reason given is that they donât want to compete with GTA VI.
Certainly giving it a wide berth.
I donât think Iâd trust it to come out Q2 2027. It was originally announced as a 2016 game so who knows when itâll come out.

That stream was so bad that Great Leader had to make TWO appearances to placate the citizens. His given reason of not wanting to compete against console game GTA 6 is so fucking awesome because Exodus and The Expanse RPG, which are actual sci-fi games on PC, are coming out Q2 2027.

this latest update was killer because not only do they present a fabulous new technology theyâve just invented called âserver instancingâ, Chris goes into detail about how until recently Star Citizen itself has had more attention and people working on it, now theyâve shifted to working on Squadron 42 more despite it apparently being largely finished. begging the question of why nothing works in SC despite hundreds of people working on it all the time.
