I was reading about how the new Playstation should be able to emulate PS3 games well which is a lot of effort being expended to play all those games it doesnât have.

I donât need a steam deck but buying a refurb lcd before theyâre gone forever feels like something I should do? IDK.
Seems likely to remain a hardware target for a very long time, its higher performance competitors havenât sold nearly enough to displace it as the mobile pc games platform and the vast majority of games donât need more juice
My only gripe with the LCD model is that since it uses a rotated portrait panel it is not compatible with polarized sunglasses
I agree this is probably the last reasonable opportunity but if you donât really want one then you probably shouldnât get one

fwiw, Iâve been trying to buy one from valve all day, and though the refurb lcds occasionally show as in stock, i havenât been able to buy one, and all the used lcd units on ebay and amazon have shot up to $450+ already.
I will say the highest end one (the non reflective screen or whatever) is a bad get, because that screen scratches insanely easily (I got one in the one day I had between opening it and getting a screen protector).
The advice I used to give was âjust get the cheapest one and replace the SSD yourself for like $150,â but, uh. Lotta stuff doesnât really apply anymore.

you can still get used 2230 512GB m2 drives for ~50-65 bucks on ebay, so getting the eMMC deck with the intention of immediately replacing it is still cost effective
also: games load plenty fast off of a microSD card, so if you have one laying around, thatâll work too

I think a lot about how phantom liberty just lifted the entire emotional arc from the anime for its story because everyone loved edgerunners except it doesnât really work twice in a row and the anime was way better written. Keanu is so good in the DLC however.
The joke is on me though because I wear cyberpunk official merchandise half the year on my head lmfao so cdpr has made me their bitch
