I just turned mine on a few weeks ago because I was sick of the jerky pan over the map in LotR (at 2 out of 10 strength). making the OLEDs work more like phosphors

I mean the motion interpolation on cheap LCDs that makes everything look like a cheap soap opera, not OLED BFI (which I also have on low)
BFI is a fix for sample-and-hold looking really jarring on a display with basically instant response time, but it doesnât generate images that werenât there in the source the way the motion interpolation does. This AI shit sucks ass because itâs generating stuff that no human was ever involved in

this is fair, I have seen this game get streamed multiple times and every time it devolves into a ratio of 1-2 minutes of good olâ fashioned family fun arcade game to 5-10 of degenerate gambling
the âgenerate game ideaâ thing seems like they just want to skip directly to the focus testing phase of idea refinement while willfully ignoring that any given audience is fickle and stupid and also youâre dumping millions upon millions of dollars into development so you would have to focus test the resulting product anyway

I donât see the downsides except
- really really expensive
- can you really contribute to a project in 3 months after not knowing the code base? and having not worked on a major project before?
- your work is still behind NDA and wonât get on a portfolio until the project ships unless they add some kind of release for it?
- You donât exactly get âshippingâ credits which is what a bunch of studios want (despite, you know, how hard it is to ship a game and how much of that is out of the developerâs control)
etc etc etc
Itâs a cohort of like 20 seats across 2 studios, so each studio gets to add 10 to their headcount forâŚfree???

While browsing a pornographic site I found one video marked Mosaic Reduced . Frame to frame the shit LLM morphed and merged gentials, hands, faces. It was a complete nightmare. Against my normal character I had to tell a few friends about this and then hear their anguished wails as they (on the phone) saw the results live. People can crank off to whatever in life, I still canât imagine why someone looked at this cronenberg acid trip and go âThis is great, gotta upload it.â It was a deep psychological/emotional burden until I could figure out how to The Ring style pass it off onto others.
So yeah hey everyone want to be emotionally shaken for a week look at that up.
Ancient select button dot net posters will remember we had a poster whose job was un-editting Japanese pornography. So this is another job taken away by AI except not because the result is horrifying. But probably because like all these AI scams who gives a shit as long as it gets rid of employees we have to pay.
