ok so the brand that made the cool set i posted last week is named enlighten, and they have a bunch of cool-looking themes:
space adventure - self-explanatory, includes the “robocop’s renegade” set above
war of glory - fantasy, looks kind of similar to lego’s elves theme, and there’s clear lord of the rings influence in there too.
creation of god - another fantasy theme, or rather a kind of chinese fantasy/sci-fi hybrid type deal?
and some others, like a bunch of sets of small vehicles that combine into big mecha, two pirate themes (one with normal pirates that looks like a clone of lego’s classic early 90s pirate theme, and another with dragons and robot squids and other cool stuff), and military.
most lego knock-off brands do a military theme, though, since it’s one that lego will never do themselves.
anyway, at some point i’m gonna figure out how many, if any of these are clones of lego sets, and maybe by a few of the ones that are original? because they look amazing
