I’m still doing it, but sparingly. Questions are very limited and now recycle asking you ones that don’t really need re-clarification. They’re updating friending methods soon, so you can add people via email or something.

This was a good outlet for shitposting for a while, but it’s got a hard change in diminishing returns.

Not me, that’s for sure! Because that’s silly and I wouldn’t expect it to behave like this. I guess I was out of touch with Nintendo’s handling of the internet for a long time.

I was wondering why I didn’t get a single request after posting my code around. Now I know why.

I guess you have to add social media to actually add friends? That’s dumb

Yes, the fact that I couldn’t invite people in a sensible fashion was maybe 1/3 of why I stopped caring.

Which is funny since the update they released yesterday claims to have fixed this (I haven’t tried it)

this was fun for like a week or something

still praying the Animal Crossing F2P app they’re actually making is more directly connected to being close to the original game than whatever this thing was

I guess this just never came out in European countries that Nintendo has deemed unworthy?

I think so. It’s not out in Sweden. I have downloaded it because my iTunes account is for the spanish store. You can freely change the language settings once you are in the app.

Hey remember this flash in the pan? Still bizarre to think that Nintendo ran a social media platform for a hot second.
