I happened to find one of these Seamic Controllers in a Seaman for PS2 box real cheap at Ikebukuro Hard Off in Japan 2-3 years ago! I opened it up and played around with it a few months back and wow

It sucks lol

The plastic feels so flimsy, the dpad is garbage, buttons feel no good and cheap, the mic sounds suuuuper cheap and awful, like worse than a 5 dollar mic. It was very disappointing despite looking like it’d be a solid Saturn-like experience, just a cheap cheap controller overall.

I just destroyed my Hori Split Pad Pro by mistake (it got ripped by several heavy comic books in my backpack). It’s not something nice to see :grimacing:

It’s a great time to buy something as replacement!

Are there any alternatives to Joy-cons (which preserve both the wireless and the capability of playing portably), or are we still stuck with the same choices we used to have 2 years ago?

Also, are the newer Joy-cons better in terms of drifting?

This is my keyboard on android now and yknow what? It’s way more accurate after like 3 weeks of using it. Fuck gboard.

It is a bit quirky but i’m willing to put up with it because i was making so many typos on the regular keyboard.

Highly recommended. It’s called typewise.

I’ve just been swiping with swiftkey for years and years and I love it, totally solved input problem for me

For whatever reason every swipe keyboard i’ve used has been unaccountably laggy to the point of frustration for me. Might be a me thing

You’ll be able to play accordion now too!

giving it a shot. I HATE typing on phones with the usual keyboard and swiftkey is way too finicky.

it took me a week to not be physically frustrated with it, and another week to get to the point where i wasn’t constantly hitting J instead of space, so give it a little time to sink in imo.

In the spirit of a janko piano!

I’m adjusting to the layout OK, but the lack of a delete key is killing me.

wondered what informed the Apple MFi standard button colours and am now cursed with this forbidden knowledge

Yeah the short swipe backwards is the lesser option to Just A Button. On the other hand I relish every CaPiTaL lEtTeR now

I have a very similar Elecom trackball.

gotta say I real love my vert mouse. only downside is Ill some times slap it over going from keyboard back to mouse as its taller than my muscle memory path.
