Let's just talk about Star Wars forever

I dunno what “web publishers” means in this context but like, yeah, I do want to make sure Hbomberguy gets paid

for the pennies that trickle down to him through the nightmare that is the web advertising ecosystem you would be infinitely better served to install an adblocker and give him like, one dollar on patreon

If everyone would just give everyone else one dollar.

Everyone would just need 7 billion dollars.

Some of these people have no patreons

Anyway why would I give a dollar when I can make google give pennies

something something cap and trade psychic harm

Is there an adblocker that works on youtube pre-roll? None I’ve used do.

All of the folks I want to help are patreon, video, or podcasts none of which use display ads yay

“Can I use my butthole?” is a very cool way of asking where the bathroom is

You could just whitelist youtube like I do.

episode 3 of the mandalorian was probably the most effective of all of them yet, i like the groove the series is settling in to. but the sudden appearance of the mandalorian brigade at the end of the episode was a little weird, and the first time the series has felt genuinely reliant on the assumption that it’s viewers have been following dave filoni along on his journey for the past several decades. i don’t understand why these dudes who were just about to kill the main character are suddenly rallying to his defense, and i don’t understand if i’m supposed to understand why or if i’m just supposed to think that it is some kind of ethnic solidarity that transcends their interpersonal issues or whatever. also the rocketeer esque ending is the first time the weird buck rogers energy of the clone wars series has been presented in live action and… i have mixed feelings about it i guess

incredible that people have the energy to get into a huff about they fly now-gate after we all endured the humor in the last two films

It is very telling they’d use this sort of extract though, in case we needed any assurances that this was indeed a post-Whedon Marvel Disney affair.

i mean i would say bring back heroes who all despite each other and talk like they want to hatefuck but the modern version of that is just…avengers

For the life of me I thought that troopers with jump packs had been a thing since the Clone Wars but I can’t remember it actually being a thing on screen.
