Thinking about this some more, I strongly feel that after Elan sobered up, he persued a career in politics. He strongly believed that the solution to the Republic’s spice problem was aggressive criminalization and enforcement. As a senator, he persued policies such as felonizing possession, mandatory minimums, police militarization, and aggressive profiling (especially against his fellow Balosarians). He lasted as a senator until the senate itself was dissolved, after which he was appointed chief bureaucrat of the Imperial Spice Enforcement Administration.
And thus he truly lived up to his name.

the age of content is looking real bad, but what could i really expect from disney investor day?
Last night we watched the Rosario Dawson episode of the Mandalorian and I was like oh hey, this sure feels like a backdoor pilot of sorts, and sure enough.
I’m surprised Donald Glover is willing to do a Lando series. A lot of this stuff seems wild. The Obi-Wan Kenobi series sounds like it’s gonna stretch series lore in weird ways.
