you may be saying, Veronica, you love the F-16 Fighting Falcon, surely you play and enjoy Falcon BMS. Nope! I would love to, but literally for over a decade I’ve been pissed as fuck about the giant Israel theater of operations addon where you play as an IDF psychopath dropping Paveways on children that multiple BMS developers contribute to, including the guy named in this steam review. Oh you’re telling me they love when Palestinian people die? Who could’ve guessed???

this is the most effective us military propaganda I’ve ever seen featuring limp bizkit

To the Sea… a Sidewinder: 50 Years of Snakes on the Wing. A 2002 documentary produced on the AIM-9 Sidewinder by China Lake, where it was developed

I’m reading a book about the development of it right now so I can successfully articulate my rage at the AIM-9E and AIM-9J which have done nothing but let me down emotionally.

I am being bombarded with so much heatblur propaganda on youtube that I feel on the verge of getting into DCS, not even to fly the F-14, but to simply be the radar intercept officer in the back of someone else’s.

Give me the polaroid camera! Who needs the NPC RIO when they could have a stunning and beautiful autistic woman sitting back there instead

I got a decisive victory fighting as a merc for the Soviets in the June 1953 campaign of NATO Fighters 5 and my reward was getting nuked to death lol

really living up to the name of the game here

I’m trying to play through the original five (well six, it’s plus a bonus 1978 campaign from the mod I’m using that updates the terrain to support carriers etc) Strike Fighters 2 campaign starting with the 1959 one. I completed the first one yesterday after almost three years of combat

pilot statistics:

It is now 1966 and we are trapped in Shah Komar’s game once more because rumors of his death were greatly exaggerated and the US Navy sent our carrier group “somewhere in Middle East” once more. I love that by the way it’s like we’re fucking fighter pilots in Madness Interactive.

Despite being saddled with dogshit missiles (shout out AIM-9B shout out AIM-9C I FUCKING HATE YOU TWO) this is where we’re at after 7 sorties of the new war which might be drawing to a close sooner rather than later. I finally broke 100 air-to-air kills. The MiG export business is booming because of how many I scrap every time we fly.

I have become an Ace Combat protagonist, a demon of the sky who needs to be put out of her misery. I’m at that phase of the aviation rollercoaster where I’m not scared anymore and feel invincible. The enemy is starting to get SA-2 surface-to-air missiles with Fan Song radars so I suspect that’ll change in the next campaign and I’ll feel fear again.

It was nice flying the F-8 C through E but I’m pretty sure I’m getting transferred from VF-211 to VF-84 next time around. I already feel so bad for my future RIOs in the backseat of the F-4 and F-14 I’m going to have from '72 into the '80s. I love making people vomit and pass out!

the vfw in the title of this thread stands for “Veterans of Forum Wars” but this is ridiculous

the idea of a discord where you can get help applying for VA benefits in between playing helldivers with the boys is incredible to me. and the us army veteran gaming pension program is too fucking funny

The RAZBAM A-6 Intruder cockpit is really high quality for like, 2005. I wish the bombardier/navigator was next to you but the incredible detail is worth the trade.

You can also rescuing Russian civilians in Stalingrad.

I categorize all the games created by NATO countries as one type now.
