ultima 7 was kind of a moral compass for kid me. i didn’t really understand it but it was one of the earliest instances of Hokey Bullshit Fake Religion on me and i rolled with it. part 2 had that neat chaos/order in balance thing going on too, even if it completely had no idea what it was doing with any of it and basically everything felt forced as heck.
