I dunno I saw some footage of the movement tech and this thing looks alright, possibly even good. Not like, a day one purchase but definitely something filed in the ‘when this is in a cheap bundle I’ll snag it’ zone.
I thought Demon’s Turf was pretty cool. Though I can’t remember the joke in poor taste Rudie mentioned, maybe that would tilt it for me in retrospect but…yeah. This looks solid to me.

It’s been bouncing around in my head but the thing throwing me off on the new design is the amount of bare chest visible, which reads as him being naked

Yeah, this visually looks bad. The Bubsy models looks so…off. Not just the character design, but–like–the whole style.
The levels look weirdly big and empty in places, which feels like a bad sign, though I can’t really remember the last 3-D platformer I played. So maybe that’s normal.
If it’s not about time travel then what the fuck. Make the name mean something! Go to dinosaur times! Dinosaur times! Can you imagine?

Bubsy 4D seems like a good video game and also a good way to destroy your hands and wrists
it’s pretty normal and then you open your hairball eye and realize the entire thing is a tortured physics platformer Monkey Ball and you see the lines
