HBFG: Hit button feel good

no argument

a rare case of HBFG, but PGFB (play game feel bad)

ah fuck this is way better

Having played Monster Hunter World for more hours than I care to mention I would argue that releasing a button can induce an equal, if not greater sensation than the act of hitting the button in the first place

the buttons need to feel more good imo, they should have more squish to them, like a stress ball

Crunch was a terrible tim-ism because it tried to overwrite an already extant use of ‘crunchy’ in tabletop games.

in my quest to open as many adjectives as I can while gesticulating wildly to describe physical experiences occurring entirely in the brain, I’m willing to let words have multiple definitions

besides, crunch is much more appropriately owned by bone-shattering impact that “sitting down to a spreadsheet”

nah, crunchy works way better for spreadsheet gore than it does for kinesthetics
