I feel like terry bogard is just the most recognizable snk character which is what they have gone for when including third party characters.
“metal slug” as a character would be much cooler and each costume is a different metal slug protagonist. probably more interesting mechanically too, so I could maybe see them going that route especially since metal slug is also a fairly highly recognizable snk name.
Tron Bonne is definitely the best possible outcome here.

honestly still can’t believe this namco game does not even have one digimon not even an original flavor agumon just shameful
new ideas:
- Tesse from Waku Waku 7
- The mermaid robot from Blazing Star
- What if the SNK copyright is a false flag

This is only tangentially related to the subject at hand, but it just occurred to me that Piko Interactive has the rights to enough random old junk that they could easily make the stupidest crossover of all time.
I mean, who else could make a crossover with characters from Radical Rex, Tyranosaurus Tex, Superhero League of Hoboken, Jim Power, Sword of Sodan, Tinhead, Glover, Drakkhen, Bubble Ghost, 40 Winks, Nightshade, and Super 3D Noah’s Ark? Only they could.

it’s criminal that namco only has pac man in this game but also it lead to people shipping him with his real boyfriend Mr game and watch and honestly I just want to pair people together like a more in depth version of fire emblems relationship system or something and have it be a bunch of older mascot characters so I can finally ship all these characters together that have been stuck in my head for years, I just wanna see wonder Momo and valkyrie to live a happy life together
