My TaoTronics bluetooth wireless earbuds died at the gym last week and I gotta get some replacements.

Anyone have a pair they’re pretty happy with? Not gonna do the same company again.

I’ve been using these MX10s through the year. Other than the overall EQ being a little stronger in low end (than I prefer) and the buds/cord themselves larger than average, I’ve found them more durable plus holding a longer charge than my last two pairs. A little pricier but I don’t regret it, also got blue somehow instead of the red pictured.

The new Humble Bundle is Crusader Kings and seemingly just about every major expansion for $15, or just the base game and a couple of the early ones for $1.

That’s… pretty good.

Apparently, most new games at Walmart are $49.99. I guess for awhile now? I mean “new” as in recent/new releases. I haven’t looked at games in a Walmart for a long time. Seems worth a look.

Most major fighting games are on sale at Steam, due to EVO tournament happening now.

*and some of them even have a couple of days for free trial play

Vasara Collection is up for preorder on switch for half price. These are two shooters that I messed around with in mame many years ago. Worth the 5 bucks. Even has a bonus 16x9 mode.

was this thing any good

I’ve been nursing a post on it as my toe-dip into visual novels

It can be really funny to play with a couch buddy, but so far I’m not seeing the “emotional, moving story”; it’s writing like pretty straightforward TV drama

For a very long time it was the ONLY Famitsu perfect 40 that was unavailable in English

I always thought it was an FMV game until the English release when I found out it was just live action stills with writing like a J-drama and my interest evaporated. I’m still curious how the world as presented at the beginning fits with its spin-off anime about an assassin who can see sound.

Gnog is free on the Epic Store this week and seems like a cool thing in the spirit of the old Vectorpark toys

deadfire is cheapish for only the first or second time iirc if you want a really solid, modern-yet-traditional CRPG with a nuanced anticolonial narrative and abnormally good RTwP combat

Buy it for me and I will stream all of my quasi sincere kvetching

Figure I will link this and say I would like a devotion code if someone has one.

Yatagarasu, Astrebreed, and Analog are all great. CSH is eeehhhhhhhhhh.

Dunno if this counts, but Zachtronics has ~2 days left in a campaign for a second printing of their hard-cover design book ZACH-LIKE. It’s $20 $20 + shipping [USA=$5, everywhere else=$40], so determine your own level of STEAL for a 400 page coffee table book.
