The logical conclusion is to simply pour every cell into ‘+’ percentage bottomless pit, so I guess I will be illogical. I suppose I can set a personal rule to always unlock everything no matter how bad it is, so that I’ll never feel I made a mistake by unlocking something.

I kinda feel like we should be talking about how great Iconoclasts is. It definitely evokes the feeling of playing Mother 3 for me in terms the writing/world building. Whereas Mother 3 was focused on the destruction of the social fabric and environment due to capitalism, Iconoclasts addresses religion in a similar fashion. It’s really good so far.

i got switch and some eshop games today, one of them being a game by Circle entertainmant called Kamiko, which reuses the enemies from Fairune, nd it got me thinking about fairune again. they’re a pair of really good simple games where you play as someone just arriving at a world and with no idea whats going on. Very simple gameplay but real good music and charm. The first one is free on phones i think, but it was so good i immediately bought it for 3ds

I didn’t say it was bad. Any game about mapping human motions to abstract analog stick motions drives me nuts and I know I will not reach a point where I like it. Quitting immediately is good for my blood pressure. You go enjoy it. I will be here not screaming at the TV and twisting the controller till it cracks open.
That will be bad! It’s impossible to find new PS3 controllers nowadays.

Yeah it is pretty tight. I’ve played it a bit on PS4 but not enough.
Y’all it’s wild how completely and utterly bland The Crew 2 is. Love to drive around a big empty abbreviation of the USA.
At least the off-road races are kinda fun. It’s also a hoot to spot all the ways the generated world kinda falls apart.
Not to knock the work of a team that no doubt worked hard on it! It’s just fun to drive up on storefronts that have doors that are a good two feet deep into (or above) the sidewalk.
On the flip side, I’m happy to report Onrush is still alive with a decent number of people playing. There’s a lot of grumbling about Quick Play being disabled now that the (probably too late) Ranked mode has been added, but as long as you don’t give a shit about rank it’s pretty much all the same and still a good time.

yeah iconoclasts is fucking great for real
I’m still stuck at the Artorias fight so I started a new Dark Souls 2 character. Every previous time I have played, I end up fumbling around with weapons and leveling up and quitting as soon as The pursuer kills me. I’ve been pumping up health and endurance and leveling up my main weapon as as possible. I beat the pursuer for the first time today.

yeah, i think you have to have already talked to them.
The little stations where you hone your sword and uh, make your armor better somehow do show up, and they’re frequently next to the relevant vendor, is that what you mean?
Maybe I need to look at a different layer of map or something
Some of them consistently show up, usually ones in smaller towns.
Many only show up when you’re near them, and then only when they’re open. I think these are regulated by if the game has the NPC spawned or not?
It’s not consistent and pretty annoying until you memorize where the major ones are!

Well it finally happened. I played Vampyr while too tired and picked a wrong dialogue choice and locked myself out of something.
Is what it is, but the little “HINT FAILED” honk/stinger and the ever-present autosave icon were insult to injury. Oh well!
Anyway, the best bug in this game is that there are a decent number of characters whose eyebrows load in maybe less than half the time.
Kinda nice to play a new, ambitious but heavily flawed B-game in 2018.
